Throughout our 50 years of faithful service, we have moved forward by having a dream, serving others, building community, and trusting in God. Our roots can be traced back to the 18th century in Ireland where Nano Nagle began helping the poor and needy.
She founded the Presentation Sisters in 1775, and their ministry eventually spread to the Fargo area.
Held in Fargo and Grafton, the Friendship Family Picnic has enjoyed nearly a decade of success. As an opportunity to connect and rejoice, the annual picnic doesn’t disappoint. The picnic allows people we support, staff, and family to come together to share laughter and memories over food and games.
The Friendship Formal is a yearly event that is tailor-made to celebrate and incorporate the people we support. Starting with a strut down the red carpet, participants feel the crowds’ love and compassion as they show off their date and their duds on their way to dinner. Dinner then turns to dancing as the tables part for a late-night on the dance floor. Once the final song ends, and the dance floor dust is settled, plans for the next years’ formal begin!
